Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 1, 2026 — for the “ETA Invoice & Receipt Exporter” extension.

This extension is an independent tool that helps a signed-in Egyptian e-invoicing taxpayer (invoicing.eta.gov.eg) download and export their own invoices and receipts to Excel, PDF and CSV files. It is not affiliated with the Egyptian Tax Authority or any government body.

Data we access

The extension operates only within your authenticated portal session and reads your invoice/receipt data through the portal’s own API using your session token. This data is processed locally in your browser to build reports and is never uploaded to our servers.

Data sent to us

• Only the email shown in your portal — sent to our subscription server to verify an active subscription or to request a trial.
• We do not send invoice/receipt content, tax data, or passwords.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
• No advertising trackers or analytics are used.

Storage

The session token/email are used transiently at runtime. Your preferences (e.g. column choices) and cached subscription status are stored locally via chrome.storage and never leave your device.

Permissions

• host_permissions (invoicing.eta.gov.eg, api-portal): to access your data inside your portal.
• storage: to save your preferences locally.
• downloads: to save exported files to your device.
